Dr. Jesalyn Taylor is a board-certified physician at a leading national cancer diagnostics laboratory and the Founder & President of Opportunity in Motion Foundation.
Originally from Greenwood, Mississippi, she created the foundation to help students gain exposure to educational and career opportunities they may not otherwise experience. Through programs such as Mini-Med School, Medical Immersion Day, and student scholarships, Dr. Taylor is passionate about helping students see new possibilities for their future while building confidence, leadership, and purpose.

I chose to support Opportunity in Motion because early exposure and mentorship can truly change a child’s trajectory. As a proud Xavier University of Louisiana graduate, it is especially meaningful to support an organization founded by one of my classmates and lifelong friends who is giving students in her hometown real access to medicine.
These are opportunities many of us did not have growing up, and I’m honored to help make the path more visible and accessible for the next generation. When young people can see what’s possible, they begin to believe it’s possible for them.
